Frozen February Festivus

As a kid, winter on the frozen plains of Northern Montana could be intense. “Life is better outdoors” my dad would say, as he kicked my brother and I out the door to play in the windblown crust that had frozen in the backyard. With snot frozen to my face and my brother pelting me with snow, it was hard to imagine how life could get any better. It’s funny how history repeats itself. Josh Pierce, who has run everyday for 1000+ days outside, decided that we (and I mean you) should run or bike every day outside again this winter for a monthly challenge. He wanted to choose January, but I’m the nice one and pushed for February. So this month channel your inner Wim Hof (if you don’t know who he is, he’s done some incredible cold weather feats) and join the Frozen February Festivus.

Once you’ve completed the challenge tag Josh (@josh pierce) and Ryan (@ryan mellem) in your last run/ride AND sign up for the event. A winner will be drawn at random for the $50 monthly prize. Standard Plod and Pedal mileage and time requirements apply. As always be safe, have fun, and anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
