Down. Set. Hunt

I’ve often wondered why the 10th month of the year was named October. Shouldn’t it be the 8th? Well, it’s a long story dating back to ancient Roman times. The cliff notes version is that Julius Caesar set the final calendar for us using past Roman shenanigans, Greek astronomy, and Egyptian record keeping. What did he get for it? Stabbed right in the chest by his best friend. Lucky for me, Josh doesn’t like me enough to take me out. However, from now until June the conversation, on the trail, will revolve around hunting section 204, 202, 105, etc. You get the picture. We live in Montana. It’s a thing. So why not embrace the season.

This month's challenge is a good old fashioned scavenger hunt. You have to find 10 items on the list below in one continuous run/ride. Take a picture of the items and add them to your Strava activity. You can’t take a picture of any item that you own. The winner of this month's challenge will be drawn at random and win the $50 prize. Remember to tag us in the comment section of your activity and sign up for the event and you need to have at least one qualifying mile time for your run or distance for your ride.
