MOM

Moms! If you have the typical one, they'll comfort you when you're down, praise your achievements, and always be there in your corner rooting you on. They'll go the extra mile to show you that you're loved and important. Dirty Di, my mom, is no exception. Sure, she regularly lets me know that I didn't live up to my potential and that she wishes she would have  "done things different", but sometimes there's a chink in that armor around her heart. She'll say things like, "at least you're not your brother" or "you didn't turn out so bad for all the drinking I did during pregnancy". If that doesn't tear at your heart strings, you're probably dead inside. It's that kind of praise that is constantly making me want to prove myself. To go bigger than I did before and push my boundaries just a smidge. This month, in the spirit of pushing boundaries and for the honor of mothers everywhere we present our Miles of May (MOM) challenge.

This months challenge is to log as many miles as possible. For every 50 running miles (150 biking miles) that you log you'll get one entry into the monthly challenge. On your LAST run/ride of the month, tag @Josh Pierce and @Ryan Mellem with your total run equivalent mileage. We will pick one lucky winner at random for the monthly prize. As always have fun, be safe, and anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
