100 Days

Eight years ago when Josh and I started this thing there were just 20 of us. It was intended to be a last man/woman standing event. Neither of us thought that anyone would make it a year. So, when Josh and I hit 100 days we were a little shocked. To celebrate, we did a 10 mile trail run at Blue Mountain. Back then that was a long run for the two of us and we were pretty stoked that we'd made it 100 days. We had 10 finishers that year and there are still 4 of us who will be celebrating another 100 days on April 9th. There's not too many things in life that you choose to do consistently for 100 days in a row. Since you're reading this post, you've got some drive, determination, grit or just plain old badassery. Whatever you want to call it, you're here and killing it. Whether you're celebrating day 100, day 2657, or any of those days in between we're glad you're along for the ride and hope you're stoked about hitting this benchmark.

This month's challenge is to run 10 miles or bike 30 miles on April 9th. Remember, only one mile for the run has to be under 15 minutes to qualify. It may seem a little daunting for some of you, but you've got this. Go out there and make a memory. You'll be glad that you did. Once you've completed the challenge, sign up for the event and don't forget to tag @Josh Pierce and @Ryan Mellem in your activity. We will pick one finisher at random for our monthly prize. As always, have fun, be safe, and anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
